1914 INDIAN
This motorcycle has an interesting backstory. A wealthy couple purchased this for their son in 1914. He rode it a couple times, then had an accident. His parents then forbade him to ride it. They put the bike in their basement and there it sat until 1965. The bike was then donated to the Grand Rapids Public Museum where it sat in storage. I brought the motorcycle to my studio where I restored it as a static display. I spent two weeks detailing the engine, and meticulously cleaned every part over the next several weeks. The bike is in remarkable original condition. I believe the motorcycle is fully capable of starting and running.
